Images of Locations - Fulham Interview

Below are the images of the location that we decided to interview the Fulham season ticket holder Jazzby Ghosh at. We chose his house because it relates to the person we are interviewing where he can be surrounded by his natural environment and because we felt as though it wasn't our choice to ask him to go out of his way and go to a different location just to suit our needs when he is doing us a huge favour already.

We had to slightly adjust the setting to make it more realistic and suit our needs so we decided to remove certain objects such as photos, paintings, and posters to create a sense of realism and professionalism to the interview. In the images you will notice that we have taken pictures of where the over the shoulder, the two shot and where the close up will be in the interview.

Stadiums: Head 2 Head - Script 4

Our documentary will start with a split screen of the two stadiums, Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage. ‘Stadiums head 2 head will fly across the screen and stay in the middle. We will then transition across to Jamie sat in an office, he introduces the documentary and then explains what we are going to be talking throughout the 5 minute clip.  A mid shot will be used here.

After this we will cut to Jamie just outside Fulham’s ground, Craven Cottage, Jamie will talk about Fulham’s past great players and what trophies Fulham have achieved. Also he will talk about Fulham reaching the 2010 Europa League final. Within this scene we will use the tracking shot as Jamie is walking towards the stadium. After this we will cut to a panning shot of inside Fulham, the pan will then look across each stand within Craven Cottage and during this pan we will use a voiceover.

It will then cut to our interview with our Fulham season ticket holder; the interview will consist of about 6 or 7 different questions. There will be a variety of shots used for the interview and they will be, two shots, close ups, extreme close ups and over the shoulder shots.

It will then be cut to Jamie outside Stamford Bridge; he walks along talking about the history and background of Chelsea Football club. A panning shot is used here. We then cut to Jamie stood outside the Chelsea store, he talks about the ticket prices compared to Fulham and why the two vary so much. A long and wide shot is used here so it is clear to see what is in the background.

It will then cut to Jamie in one of the main entrances into the stadium he will be talking about the history of the club and how they one there first Champions League trophy in 2012. He will then introduce the interview with the season ticket holder of Chelsea. The shots used will be the same used in the Fulham season ticket holder interview but used in different ways.

Images of Camera Angles

Moving Shots:

Panning Shot - We have decided to use a panning shot when Jamie is
arriving at Stamford Bridge with a sign in the background acknowledging
he is there. Also we have added another one when Jamie is inside Craven
Cottage which overlooks the stadium whilst a voiceover is heard over the
top.The panning shot is effective as it provides evidence to the audience
that we are at the stadium and it adds to the continuous flow that there is
in the documentary.

Tracking Shot -
We use the tracking shot when we first arrive Craven
Cottage, we decided that it would be better to have two moving shots to
introduce each stadium as it introduces the setting. The tracking shot
is effective as it introduces the topic we are talking about and it
allows for continuity in the next shot.
